Wheatley Society
Organisation Details
Since the mid 1970s the Wheatley Society has existed as a social and cultural resource for those living locally. It has always been keenly interested in local civic affairs. When appropriate it has worked with others on planning and environmental issues.
Meetings usually take place in The Merry Bells, Wheatley High Street. Events and their further details are publicised on notices around the village, in The Wheatley Society Members’ Newsletter and in the Wheatley Parish Newsletter well in advance.
Membership is open to all and the annual subscription is £7 per couple and £4 per individual.
Non-members are always welcome for a nominal payment of £2.
Joining Wheatley Society is an excellent way to meet others interested in Village issues and for newcomers it offers a welcome to the Village and all it has to offer.
